Christmas in the Shire

Mark your calendars for the weekend of December 6-8! The Town of Alfred, along with the Alfred Shaker Museum and several local businesses, will be celebrating “Christmas in the Shire.” The Alfred Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a tree lighting ceremony and Santa Claus, and many businesses around town will be holding Open Houses.

We’ll post more details soon. Watch for the ads in the local papers!

Wool Felting Class Photos

These photos were taken at the recent Wool Felting workshop with Beva Meagher. Students learned felting techniques, and produced the adorable “Yankee Hooter Owls” pictured below. Students agreed that the class was great fun. Thanks to Beva for sharing your time and talents!
